The Linyanti Wildlife Reserve in Botswana is located in an area of stunning wilderness situated north of the Okavango. Fed by the Kwando River, the Linyanti Swamp is the heart of the reserve and attracts one of Africa's largest Elephant populations as well as many other animals. The area is renowned for its predators and game which migrate to the Linyanti River during dry winter months and disperse into the vast wilderness after the first rains.
This area used to be set aside for hunting but its status has recently been changed to a non-hunting area which has encouraged the wildlife to start moving back through part of their old migration route and due to this the reserve is fast becoming one of Botswana's main tourist attractions.
The main attraction for tourists here is Safari and there are a wide range of packages on offer to enable you to enjoy this stunning areas terrain and wildlife. Accommodation here is plentiful with a wide range of high quality lodges to make your stay here as relaxing and or exciting as you want it to be.
