Kafue National Park covers more than 22,500 square Kilometres (8687 square miles) the largest park in Zambia and one of the biggest in the world with terrain ranging from the lush riverine forest of the Kafue River to the vast grassland of the Busanga Plains home to the greatest diversity of wildlife of any national park in Africa. Due to its increasing popularity the park has been blessed with more funding to help protect the wild life that are native to this area and to enhance the accommodation for the tourists that flock to this amazing destination.
This park is most famous for Safari and guided tours and treks can be easily arranged to view this truly stunning area and its multitude of incredible natural wonders and indigenous wildlife. Accommodation here is plentiful ranging from motels, hostels, lodges and camps to make your stay here both comfortable and as relaxing or exiting as you want it to be.
