Adelaide is a busy, modern and sometimes hedonistic city which is host to world-renown major events, from the cultural, intellectual, artistic, and gastronomic to a wealth of sporting spectacles. The city is filled with wide streets, beautiful city squares and a wealth of bars, cafes and restaurants offering varied choices of cuisine and beverages including some of the best wines to be found anywhere in the world. These wines can be sampled in the beautiful Barossa Valley where tours can be organised to taste wines from some of the best 5 star wineries in the valley or take a ferry ride to the stunning Kangaroo Island and relax on its pristine beaches or take a stroll through some of the stunning wildlife areas that are to be found here.
Another popular tourist attraction in this city is Dolphin spotting, tours can be arranged to cruise along the historic Port River which has been declared a Dolphin Sanctuary by the South Australian Government. Glenelg Beach is the most popular local and tourist beach in all of Adelaide where you can browse through hundreds of shops, dine at sidewalk cafes along Jetty Road or just enjoy all of the usual things that a busy beautiful beach has to offer.
