Luxury Multi Centre Holidays to Phi Phi Island

Phi Phi Island, located only a short 45 minute speedboat journey or a 90 minute ferry-boat ride from Phuket is a true island paradise visited by thousands of tourists from all over the world and with its fine, white sandy beaches, breath-taking rock formations and a Kodak moment at every turn it is hardly surprising. The island has undergone a massive rebuilding effort over the last few years after being hit by a Tsunami in 2004 and now boasts beautiful bungalows for tourists to stay in, stunning curving bays, white sand-beaches and dense tropical jungle.

There are many activities to be found here such as snorkelling, kayaking and rock climbing but the most popular are the diving excursions which allow you to view the marine creatures and plants in their amazing natural environment. The west side of the island is home to Maya Bay made famous by the hit movie “The Beach” staring Leonardo Di Caprio and with its white sandy beaches and jungle covered cliffs is a truly picture perfect place. Some of the most memorable views can be seen from “The Viewpoint” such as the dumbbell shape of Phi Phi don Village framed by towering cliffs or the glorious sunrise which bathes the cliffs in brilliant sunlight.

Other popular tourist attractions include Monkey Beach (located in Yong Kasem Bay where at certain times of the day a troop of wild macaque monkeys come down to the beach from the cliffs to be fed) and Bamboo Island (5km from the northern tip of Phi Phi Don. The small island is only 500m across and has beautiful beaches virtually all the way around that give way to coral underwater).
