Luxury Multi Centre Holidays to Phuket
Phuket (pronounced roughly "pu-ged") is Thailand's largest island measuring 48 km in length and 21 km at its widest. In the past Phuket's main sources of income were trading in tin and rubber and being on one of the most popular trading routes between India and China it enjoyed great prosperity. Nowadays the main source of income for the island is tourism and the success of this has transformed the island into Thailand's wealthiest province attracting visitors from all over the world.
The beautiful tropical sunsets, warm blue sea and breath-taking scenery make this island a wonderful holiday destination for the whole family with great value for money accommodation. There are many things to do on this island such as class diving in Khao Lak, speed boat trips, taking a cruise around the mystical Phang Nga Bay, playing golf at some of the islands world class championship courses, or simply relaxing on some of its tranquil sandy beaches.
