Visit the Ziptrek Ecotours in Queenstown, New Zealand
Ziptrek Ecotours are a unique adventure activity that operates out of Queenstown, New Zealand offering stunning views of both the city, terrain and the surrounding areas of this beautiful part of the world. Fully guided Ziptrek Ecotours take guests on an inspiring journey through the forest via a series of observation platforms and flying foxes.
The flying foxes operate on cables anchored between treetop platforms (the trees are not at all damaged in their "tower" role). Visitors are then outfitted with a climbing harness and attached to the cable with a pulley. At each aerial launch platform, visitors step off the platform to soar down the cable.
While attached, visitors can freely move around and position themselves in various ways (upside down for example) to take in the view from any angle they choose.
