Visit Caracas in Venezuela, South America
Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela has a vibrant and friendly population of around 4 million people making it the most densely populated city in the country. located close to the Coast (La Guaira Port) at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level this area has a unique climate which has been dubbed a "perpetual summer." The city is situated under the Avila Mountain which stands at an impressive 2600 meters high and is accessible on foot or by cable car, a very popular attraction for tourists offering stunning views of the city and surrounding area.
Caracas is also a cultural centre and home to the museum of modern art which is one of the most important in South America, here you can appreciate a variety of high quality works by various artists. Every year Caracas hosts an international Theatre Festival, where groups from all over the world meet.
This city is world renowned for its restaurants that offer both local and international gourmet cuisine to suit all tastes. Other attractions here include several modern and luxurious shopping centres, several parks that also offer beautiful views of the city and the stunning beaches that are located nearby.
