Barbados
With a variance of 1 degree above and below an average daytime temperature of 30o Celsius all year round it is not surprising that Barbados has been drawing in Caribbean aficionados for many decades.
Furthermore, its protected western ‘gold’ coast is home to some of the Caribbean’s finest hotels, many fronting directly onto the fabulous coral sand beaches. Add to this the famous good nature of the locals and their classic West Indian hospitality, then you will appreciate why once you have been once you will probably be hooked for life. Don’t take our word for it – make sure you book early for the high season months between December and March.
There is little high rise development and the atmosphere distinctly laid back. Gastronomy on the island has progressed at a pace in recent years with gourmet eateries offering a tantalising range of world cuisine, but make sure you don’t forget the island’s own Bajan delicacies by joining the crowds at the weekly fish fry at Oistins.
Let Beaver Travel help you nurture your Bajan experience whether you are planning a winter sun escape or a value added break out of high season.
