Zambia

If you are seeking the ultimate, “off the beaten track” safari destination, then centrally located Zambia, often described as Africa’s best kept secret, should be high on your wish list. From the roaring grandeur of Victoria Falls to vast tracks of sparsely developed game reserves the true magnificence of wild Africa beckons.

Victoria Falls

The country’s prime attraction is the spectacular, breathtaking Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Not only do the falls provide unmatched scenery as the water plunges into the depths of the gorge, but they are also the setting for a multitude of adrenaline pumping activities, like white water rafting, bungee jumping from the 364 foot high bridge, canoeing, abseiling, micro-lighting over the falls, elephant-back safaris, jet-boating through the rapids and much more.

South Luangwa National Park

Zambia offers dozens of superb game parks stocked with a profusion of birds and wildlife. Chief among the parks is South Luangwa National Park, centred on the most intact major river system in Africa, which hosts a huge concentration of game. The legendary ‘Zambian walking safari’ originated in this park and still offers one of the finest ways to experience the African wilderness.

Lower Zambezi

A stunningly beautiful rift valley through which the mighty Zambezi river flows. This region offers big game viewing alongside an impressive river with a stunning mountain backdrop. A superb mix of high-quality day and night game drives, walking safaris, motor boat and canoeing activity options.

Kafue

One of the largest parks in Africa this is the location for a remote, wild and diverse safari within a pristine wilderness. The Busanga Plains in the far north offer a unique environment within Zambia and attract a concentration of both common and rare antelope alongside a very healthy predator population.
